Alia is the visionary founder of The Up and Atom Foundation dedicated to enriching the lives of children and adults through education and philanthropy. She holds degrees in Child Development, Marketing, and Education and has spent her career in child development, education, and executive leadership. From directing an Air Force Child Development Center to leading successful businesses in marketing and sales, her expertise spans multiple industries.

A devoted mother, Alia’s passion for community impact led her to establish a nonprofit that provided Halloween costumes to children in need. She is now spearheading Spokane Inner Peace Park, an indoor science-themed learning and play center designed to offer an affordable, year-round space for families. Inspired by her own experiences as a parent and her recovery from a life-altering accident, she envisions a space that fosters movement, learning, and social interaction—free or nearly free for all.

Beyond her nonprofit work, Alia enjoys swimming, gardening, biking, and hiking with her family. She also serves as the District Treasurer for Al-Anon, continuing her commitment to community service.
